Hi Marietta, Working out the relationships is the hard part. You might try the 1850 census to see who lived by whom, their ages and where they were born to see if you can figure some of it out. There are so many Browns in the world that it is not unusual for several different families to move to the same area. That's like my Millers. They sure are hard to sort out. And mine all had common names like Thomas and John and William, so it's nearly impossible to figure out anything just by the names. You have my sympathy. Hope some of it helps you. Peggy
