I hope someone out there can help me. I am looking for the death date and burial place of David Beattie (D. B.) Hope, who lived in the Conyersville area. He died by 1841, maybe as early as 1839 or 1840. I think he was in his 30s at the time. He left a wife (Elizabeth "Betsy" nee Puckett) and four sons, Adam Arthur, Pleasant M., William L. and John "King" Kinkead, all minors. His widow later md. John Martin, also of Henry Co. Do the will books have anything on this David Beattie HOPE that might help narrow down his date of death or give any clue as to his place of burial? Thanks for any help... --- [email protected] wrote: > Hi Joan, > > Yes, I have the will books that are available > at this time. They only go up > to around 1846. Sorry, I don't have a Thomas Martin, but I know very little about John MARTIN except he was b NC ca 1818-19 - don't know who his parents or sibs were, either. His sons with wife Eliz. Puckett HOPE were Batey H. and John E. Any researchers of MARTINs in the Conyersville area of Henry Co. know any of these folks?
