Joan, Many of the early Henry County marriages were simply recorded in a ledger. There were no certificates. The information you found in the listings is all that was recorded. Images of these ledgers are available from the library. I'm not sure when certificates started to be used but the library can tell you. Two examples; I have copies of an 1847 ledger entry and a certificate from 1872.
