Wright, 90 of 107 Carter Road, widow of William Thomas "Buck" Wright, died late Wednesday afternoon at Paris Manor Nursing Center. She was the mother-in-law of Dell Wright of Paris. Grave side services will be at 1 PM Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery with Ridgeway Morticians in charge. Visitation will be after 3 PM today at the funeral home. A native Henry Countian, Mrs. Wright was born Dec., 2, 1895, daughter of the late J.H. "Jim" Edgar and Mattie Wynn Edgar. She was a longtime health insurance agent and Avon representative and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her son, Arlyn Wright on Oct., 19, 1971, and a sister, Mertice. Surviving are four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
