Dear PJ, I don't know if you have the 1850 census for this family, but thought I would pass it along and share: 1850 District 13, Henry County, Tennessee, Enumerated on October 29, 1850 Jesse McClure, age 36, male, farmer, value of real estate $800, born in South Carolina Elizabeth McClure, age 20, female, born Alabama Lydia McClure, age 16, female, born Tennessee Rosanna McClure, age 14, female, born Tennessee William McClure, age 12, male, born Tennessee David McClure, age 9, male, born Tennessee Francis McClure, age 6, male, born Tennessee If you take these ages and match them with the ones from the 1840 census here is what you have: Male Child under age 5 could be William McClure Male Child or Adult age 15-20 could be an error OR could be child that died between the 1840-1850 census Male Adult age 20-30 could be Jesse McClure Female Child under age 5 could be Rosanna McClure Female Child age 5-10 could be Elizabeth McClure Female Child or Adult age 15-20 could be a child that died between the 1840-1850 census OR Jesse's wife that died after the 1840 census Hope this helps!!
