    3. All surviving Marriage records are indexed and in Book Form from the W. O. Inman Genealogy Room. 1834 one Single Marriage record suvives. Then Marriage Licence books survive from 1838 coming forward to present. Everything from (1834) 1838 to 1968 is indexed. If the original certificate survives it is on file at the Henry County Archives. See links for furhter details: Henry County Archives: http://www.angelfire.com/tn2/woinman/archives/Marriage.htm W. O. Inman Genealogy Room: http://www.angelfire.com/tn2/woinman/Inman/ These Records are available through the internet via email look-up. They are also open to the public inspection in person at the Library and/or County Archives in Paris. I currently do not do look-ups as at the present time am not in the Paris, TN area, and do NOT currently have access at the actual indexes. I hope this may assist many of you in locating what you are looking for and further your research efforts, Steve Chilcutt Loves Park, IL/Paris, TN On Mon, 21 Aug 2006 10:29:56 -0500, Elyse Hill <mstopaz@bellsouth.net> wrote: > I'm new to this group and would like to know if anyone has had any luck > finding Henry County marriage records, in particular the mid to late > 1800s?
