Lydia ??WILLIAMS?? maybe could be/probably the daughter of Newborn WILLIAMS and wife Mary ??? ........Lydia might be/could be a sister to Patsy, Calvin, John, Henry and probably more maybe even a Parlena .......... My Lydia married John McCLAIN b abt (both of them) 1805.......he was the son of Charles McCLAIN and wife Elizabeth ??.......again who is she........... John, Charles and sister to John, Christanna were originally settlers of Weakley Co...........in District 13 .........my darling cousin Garry Brown has located the land which is just wonderful.......it is funny..........same land where we use to go to the river bottoms when I was growing up!!!!!!!!!!! Obion River Bottoms...........same one we ride 4 wheelers in this time frame............Do I have roots????? Mary Elizabeth Pistole was the daughter of Charles Pistole and Margaret Williams Pistole.. Margaret Williams Pistole was the daughter of William Williams and Lydia Bivens Williams. William Williams was the son of the Rev. Joseph Williams, Jr. and Martha Parrott Williams. The Rev. Joseph Williams, Jr. was the son of Joseph Williams, Sr. and Mary Newborn." The name LYDIA is found in the McCLAIN family........As you can see the name Newborn, Newburn, Newbern is from Mary Newborn listed above.......Not a common name at all. John and Lydia named their 3rd son Newbern........1st son was named Allen (I think John's father was really Charles Allen, but no proof of this) 2nd son was Joseph, John's grandfather and Lydia's grandfather........then 3rd son named Newbern (this indeed goes with the standard naming pattern).
