Just wondering if your SIMMONS could be related to Ernie SIMMONS. I believe some of his family came to Henry County from Wilson County TN and he was some how related to the HEWGLEY family, also spelled HUEGUELY, who was originally from Switzerland and came to the U.S. in 1777. I believe Ernie/Ernest SIMMONS would have been born ca 1900. I've also been researching both families.
