Sorry I didn't answer right away. I'm covering several responses in this e-mail. Thanks for the assistance. Pat 1. Thanks Betty for searching the McEvoy book. I bought one when I was visiting Henry Co. several years ago. Keep up the good work because not everyone has a book and would greatly appreciate your help. 2. Don't know about your William Parker. 3. I was searching for Wm. Edward Parker's parents. Today, I found his name is actually William Ecce (Ed) Parker who m. Mattie Weaks. His father was David Allison Parker and his mom was Sophronia Warren Smith. Does anyone have info on these? 4. I don't have a Lula Mae or Dudley Parker in my file. I would suggest you start collecting every Parker you can find in Henry Co., around Lula's age. Sooner or later, you might be able to piece a family together. I have a "working" file where I keep all kinds of information that may pertain to a certain family, in the future. It is quite large and it has been very helpful. There is a J. M. Parker b. abt. 1826 and d. April 23, 1903 at the age of 77. He is probably among the first Parkers in the Henry Co. area. He m. Mazonie Charles. They had a son, James "Coleman" Parker b. November 26, 1867. He m. Johnnie B. McFadden. They had a son, Willie "Herbert" Parker b. May 28, 1894. He married Mary Josephine Swindell.
I'm related to Mattie Weaks. Robert Weaks, her dad, was one of my great great grandfathers. Therefore, I would be extremely interested in learning more about the Parker family, as well. Thanks, Virginia P.S. Another good reason to read all of the messages that comes in to the site. (smile) Never know what one may learn. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 29, 2004 2:49 PM Subject: [TNHENRY] Parker > Sorry I didn't answer right away. > I'm covering several responses in this e-mail.
