Peggy, I hope you are right about the internet...but I am not as confident as you are about the records still being around..I am having trouble now with websites that I have saved in my favorites with genealogy info on them..Some of them are already gone. I hate to copy everything that I see, so I just save them all in my favorites, but obviously that is not such a good idea!! Several have disappeared!! I just can't imagine anything online being there that long!! I know that I could have not gotten anywhere without the internet.. I would really love to believe that my descendants will 1 day be reading what I have written online..I hope you're right!! I just wish more stuff I am searching for was on there now!!
