    3. While 1901 are the earliest burial records, there are birth dates included in the burial records that go back into the 1800's, which was most helpful to me in my searches. Some records also indicate where the person was born. Also,I want to correct one of my statements in an earlier email where I indicated that Lula WEAKS and Lawrence JONES were my "maternal" grandparents. What a goof I can be. They were my PATERNAL grandparents. I believe I bought my McEvoy book at the McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris......again, my senior moments may have deceived me. I bought the Ridgeway book directly from Melissa Key in Paris TN but I no longer have her address. I would think that by calling either funeral home one could find a source for the purchase. My mother was buried from McEvoy last year...August, 2003, and they keep a copy of the book there for people to view if they're interested in getting copies of funeral records.
