Jan 28,1960; Res Apt 22, Morningside Village: Married: Maplewood Cem; Husband Sam D.Lipford; Father: John Lawrence; Mother; Rebecca Jane Pofford; Info. Mrs. W. J Neese, Paris." This is the only reference to a Sam or Samuel LIPFORD. Looks like he was still living in 1960, though. Perhaps the above information will assist you in locating him.
