Does anyone on the list have any information concerning local or itinerant portrait artists in Paris in the 1840-1850's? I have a large oil portrait of a g.g. grandfather that I believe to have been painted during that period, and am curious as to who the artist might have been. I have not been able to find a signature on it. Jeanetta
