    3. Hi Laura. I would be interested in buying whatever books have any HAYNES Wills. I have the will of James HAYNES Will written ca. Apr. 1847. He d. bet. Aug. and Dec. 1858. Do you have any records for Thomas, David, Jonathan, Harry (Henry) or Ruth. Or perhaps another James, the Grandson of James above, the son of Harry? This would be after the end of the Civil War. Also, I see in the Compilation of Henry County Tn Vital Records that: TYLER, Florence Louise Lamos; mother of Louise, Ronnie and Robert Jr; daughter of Byron Lamos and Mary Louise Couhig; is buried at Foundry Hill (Baptist) Cemetery. According to the same source, Robert Henley Sr born 13 Mar 1909 and died 13 apr 1956, married Florence November 1946 and was a WWII veteren of the Tn Tec5 3860th Svc Command Unit and is buried as well at Foundry Hill (Baptist) Cemetery.

    3. Roy, the 1840 census has two pages. So, you have to follow up on the next page, which tells you the District/Territory information. But for 1840, all it says is "Western Tennessee". Not much help. I searched for some info on the family but didnt find anything. Will post it if I find anything worthwhile. Many family members still live in Henry County. We have hit a brick wall on tracing our family back beyond Daniel. We are participating in a DNA project to help us learn more. It is at: www.perry-dna.com Already that project has brought some significant success. Soon after Daniel Perry moved his family to this area in 1822, Elijah Perry came to Henry County from the same area in Montgomery Co. NC. There is history of a lot of Perrys in that area. There was a good list of Elijah Perry family members published on TNHENRY-L Archives on Jan. 30, 2005. Please help me find a male line Perry male who is descended from Elijah Perry who is willing to participate in our DNA project. The test involves no blood - just a gentle swab of the cheek. DNA sampling of the Elijah Perry line will help us track ancesters who were in Montgomery Co. NC, now named Stanly Co. But we need to know if we are searching for two Perry lines there, or are we just one line before the late 1700s. Thanks for any assistance.
