    1. [TNHENRY] Monkey's Eyebrow Ky.
    2. Anita Powers
    3. Monkey's Eyebrow Ky is a little stop in the road in Ballard Co. Ky. The only thing of consequence and it's only claim to fame, besides the strange name, is the broadcast tower of WPSD-TV, the local NBC afffiliate. I have no idea where the name comes from, but people around here are fond of saying that Paducah Ky is halfway between Monkey's Eyebrow and Possum Trot. Anita

    3. Lee I have all the info you e-mailed me already. But I appreciate the effort. The missing US census of 1890 probably has a lot of the info I am looking for. But thanks for trying. Anita

    1. [TNHENRY] James Gardner High-- Other surnames -Todd, Holliday
    2. Anita Powers
    3. I am searching for information on my gggrandfather James Gardner High. He was the son of William High (wife Barbara Todd) who in turn was the son of Mark Alexander High. James G. was born in Henry Co. in Dec. 1842 and died in Graves Co. Ky. on 3-15-1929 and it was from his death certificate that I found the name of his parents. James G. was married at least 3 times, the first to Mary Jane Holliday in 1863. I think they had 5 children. The only one I can confirm is my ggrandfather Walter High,b.1866, who moved to western Ky. and died there in 1921. James G. married Mrs. Sarah Angelina Miller in 1881 and was the widower of Sarah Francis Bratton (d.1925) when he died. James G. had 4 sisters. Catherine (Bethany?) married a Murphy: Mary Ann married an Eaves and died at her sister's Catherine Murphy home in Graves Co. in 1906. Sarah Elizabeth High married the brother of Mary Jane Holliday, William Holliday in 1863. ( Mary Jane and William Holliday's parents were John and Mamie Marberry Holliday). I don't know what happened to Louisa J. High. What I am trying to learn is: 1. when did Mary Jane Holliday High die. 2. the names of their children and spouses, if possible 3. where did Louisa go and 4. who was Mrs. Sarah Miller? Not much I know, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I am also curious about the Todd family who interrmarried with the High's several times. I am in driving distance of Paris Tn. and I think I will have to just drive over and camp out in the local library, but I have the tendency to get lost in even the smallest towns so I thought I would try this first. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me. Anita HIgh Powers

    3. Wow! I get up this morning and here are all these messages! I never thought I would get this much info by e-mail. I am definitely going to Paris next week. Apparently if you go to Paris and don't eat BBQ, you can get arrested. So if anyone in Paris sees a red-headed Kentuckian driving around looking lost (and hungry) it's me. Anita
