    2. Bonnie J. Caruthers
    3. Well, I asked for info on CLOOZ and I've gotten several requests for info. It's published by Ancestor Detective at: http://www.ancestordetective.com/ if you click on "Genealogical Links" there are the 3 reviews I read. It really sounds interesting, but still wondering about users. Have fun checking out her site and whoever gets it first will have to let the rest know!! ;-) bjc

    3. Hi to all my mail list buddies! Wondering if any of you have/do use CLOOZ: the electronic filing cabinet for genealogists? It seems to be the only one of its type out there and sounds good. I've read some positive reviews, but before I buy another computer-gen software i'd like some input from different users. Thanks to all for any feedback! bjc

Anyone have any info on this family? Thanks! Bridget Russell http://www.giarca.com/russell

    1. [TNHENRY-L] Email Security Problems
    2. David L. Snow
    3. After almost 18 years of building the memory chips & microprocessors that make these computers work and writing some of the software you use today, you'd think I'd know something about how these damn things work.......... Well, whop me upside the head with a hickery log.............. don't know diddley!!!!! I don't use, personally, ANYTHING Microsoft that I don't have to...... can't stand 'em. Use Netscape for a browser and Eudora for email........... 'thought they'd be smart enough not to get caught in the "lowlife" work ethic as Microsoft. Well, guess what??????? ...... they've been down in the mud with Microsoft. Seems they have the same Email Security PROBLEMS as Microsoft. You'll find the "patch" for Eudora at: http://eudora.qualcomm.com/security.html Netscape hasn't announced their "fix" yet. I'll let you know when they do. This isn't a "biggy" to most of you Folks........ just brings those of us who have been in the industry from the "beginning" to our knees. Kinda' like the president & his "babe" and Albert & his "monks". Shoddy Work!!! Miserable Garbage.......... The "problem" is this........ if somebody sends an attachment to an email (WHICH WON"T HAPPEN ON THESE 3 LISTS, because attachments are automatically BLOCKED from going to you from these lists) & the file name is greater than 8 characters, somebody COULD send a "virus" to your computer that would "auto-execute" and "whipe-out" your system. Not very likely, but it could happen OUTSIDE of these email lists. I can tell you, I've had some of the best "programmers" in the world work for me, and they DO this stuff for FUN......... you can only IMAGINE what they can & do DO. So. PLEASE, heed the ADICE, download the "patches" and fix your software. Dave

    3. Marietta, Thank you for the recent list of names off Henry Co Land and Deed. There was one person on it that I"m trying to find out more about. It was the HENRY LIGHTFOOT. Henry was married to Martha (Patsy) Daniel. But I am finding "conflict" over his wife's name, Martha Patsy. This is what I have so far on my Lightfoots. NOT ALL THE INFO BELOW IS DOCUMENTED. I believe the siblings below to be Caroline's. I'm still verifying much of it. Henry and family came out of Stewart County, Tenn into Henry Co. This is where the BROACH AND LIGHTFOOTS came together. If ANYONE sees any land records or other documents with HENRY LIGHTFOOT OR BASLEY BROACH OR GEORGE BROACH on them, please contact me. I haven't been able to look at land and deed records yet. I wanted to see if there were any records for George Broach father of Basley Broach. I recently looked through books about inscriptions in stone and history of Henry County. Got from the Archives in Tenn. There are also some good books put together about the civil war soldiers that came out of Henry County and they record their names. Get this if you haven't seen then yet. I did find an entry that said HENRY LIGHTFOOT was one of the first "teachers" in Henry County. I wish I could find out more about him. Esp[ecially where he and his wife Martha Patsy were buried. I have no clue and they did not show up in the books I looked through of cemeteries. I know that Henry's daugther, Caroline, was highly educated and also was a teacher. The letter I have that she wrote talks about school starting up and she would miss her son, now working for the cause in Texas making uniforms, saddles, etc, helping her teach school. Her letter did not have one mispelled word in it. Beautiful handwriting too. Henry and Martha LIghtfoot's daughter , CAROLINE MATILDA LIGHTFOOT, was married to BASLEY BROACH in Henry County Tenn. in 1844. They only stayed a couple of years after their marriage and then moved on to Arkansas. Camden area and Hotsprings area.
