    1. Henry County Wills- ELLISON AND WILSON
    2. Hi Bill, I found one entry for Charles W. Wilson as a witness to the will of Blount Cooper, Jan 1, 1845. While there are a few Ellison entries, none mentioned Frances/Francis. Unless there is a will with a specific bequest or a widow that had to be provided for, there are rarely any females named. I don't know when births began to be recorded in Tennessee. Somewhere around 1910-1920, I'd guess. Sometimes the local papers recorded births, but I don't think anything exists for the time period you mentioned. It's the good old U.S. Census after 1850 or tombstones for most us. The really lucky folks have family Bibles. Hope you find someone to help you further with your research. Good luck. Peggy

    2. Hurray!!! Thanks so much, Laura. You're wonderful. I get these books for birthdays, Mother's Day, Valentine's, Christmas. I just tell folks what I want and they order them online. Couldn't be easier. And reasonably priced. Just right for college age children and those just starting out in life to give something you really want and will get a lot of use from. I'd much rather get one of these books than a tee shirt or costume jewelry. It's a win, win situation. Don't mean to sound like an advertisement (yes, I do), but these books are a great help and Simmons Publications does lots of other counties and several other states that would be of interest to folks in this area. Check out their web site. Had to go to a bridal shower tonight so the lookups will be delayed, but I will get to them. Peggy
