    3. Hi Roxi, There aren't any O'GUIN/GUIN's on this list but I found the following on the church ledger: Jefferson D. Gore was born on April 29, 1861 in Paris, Henry County, TN, was baptized on August 8, 1896 in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee by T. C. Kelley and was expelled on July 8, 1900 - there is no cause shown. Right under JEFFERSON D. GORE, the following is listed - possibly his sister. ELIZABETH C. GORE was born September 15, 1867 in Paris, Henry County, TN and was baptized on August 8, 1896 in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee by T. C. Kelley. It indicates that she died on March 29, 1907. That is all the information on Jefferson D. Gore. 3. Dear List: I have just received copies of "Foundry Hill Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church" records from the Archives of the World Headquarters in Independence- basically a ledger of the members and a "Blessing of the Children" list. If any of you have family members that attended that church, I will be happy to check the list and see if your family names are on there. Are there any GALLIMORE family members on this List? I think that my SNOW family married into the GALLIMORE family. Thanks. Janis SNOW Mundy Reno, NV

    3. Some of you have sent me some good information on James W. McCullough (b. 1839, d. 1865) son of Alexander McCullough (b. 1809, d. 1889). I have one more piece of information on the James I am looking for, which is that he married Samantha Christian in Itawamba County MS on August 29, 1861. I don't know if he died or they divorced, but by 1870 Samantha was remarried and in Illinois. Does anyone know if the James W. McCullough of Henry County TN ever married? Many thanks, Frank

    2. JOAN MORRIS
    3. Thanks Genie, My Josephus' dad was supposedly named John, but his mother was named Nancy Jane. I have not found anything about him remarrying..My Josephus was supposedly born in 1865 in KY. So in 1880, he would have only been 15..Maybe there were 2 Josephus Allbrittens..Now that would really be confusing!! I have been told that there were some Allbrittens that moved to Graves Co & started a tobacco business..Maybe the ones you found are them..Hopefully, I will find a connection!! As far as I know my Allbrittens lived around New Concord & New Providence KY in Calloway Co. I was trying to find info on Josephus & Nancy's daughter Margaret May Allbritten..1885-1973..I was told she had 3 husbands..1st one being a Pard??. I am guessing Pard was his 1st name, but possibly could be his last..supposedly 2nd husband was Jesse Brooks Osborn, and 3rd Floyd Crysler..But I can't find anything on any of them..It is like she did not even exist.. Thanks for all your help as usual..All you guys are so helpful..I'm so glad I found your group!! Joan Broach Morris

    1. ALLBRITTEN Marriage Look up
    2. Hi Joan, All I have is Ancestry for the year in question, but they seem to be copied exactly from the record. It says, as you stated, Joseph V. Allbritton. I agree with the others that no single record could be considered the "correct" one. I have a person I researched named Joseph in some records and Josiah in others. I went nuts trying to figure out who was who. It turned out to be one man. This is our ancestors joke on us. Peggy

    3. There is a 19 yr old Josephus Albrittan in the 1880 census, in Graves Co. KY, with his father John Albrittan, John's wife Mary and several siblings. John was b TN. I can imagine that he may have used the simpler Joe or Joseph as an adult. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "JOAN MORRIS" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, November 14, 2004 6:12 PM > Subject: [TNHENRY] MARRIAGE LOOKUP > > > > Hello, is there anyone that has access to > Henry Co Marriage Records? 2. Mike & Betty
    3. Joan, If you would assume that the correct name would have to be used on a marriage cert or any other kind of old record, you would have assumed wrong. There have been errors both spelling and otherwise on marriage, and death certificates, burial records, tombstone records etc. There are spelling errors on my ggg grandmothers marriage record as well as an error on my grandfathers death certificate. Joseph and Joe are acceptable "nicks" for Josephis, so if all your dates and other information matches, its probably him.
