    1. MRS W. J. NEESE
    2. JOAN MORRIS
    3. Hello, Does anyone know Mrs W.J. Neese from Paris TN? If she gave the info to the funeral home for Hattie's death..possibly she might have info about Hattie's husband Sam Lipford!! Supposedly his 1st wife Lizzie Lipford is buried in Bethesda Cemetery, but I can't find her name on the Bethesda listings online..Could there possibly be 2 Bethesda Cemeteries?? And possibly 1 of them not listed?? Thanks, Joan Broach Morris -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. 1. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
    2. JOAN MORRIS
    3. Virginia, Thanks soooo much!! That is definitely a tremendous help..At least it gives me a place to start..Surely there has to be record of his death somewhere in Henry Co TN..or a will or something..I'll have to check next time I come to Henry Co Library..He just did not up & disappear..If he was still alive in 1960, possibly some family member will remember when he died & where he was buried.. Thanks as always! I do so appreciate all the help you all give me..You all are the greatest!! Joan Broach Morris -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. 3. Hi Virginia, Would you please do a look-up for me in the McEvoy book? I've been trying to find out when my Dad's grandfather, John Mathis, died. Probably in the mid 1930's. Last record I find he was living in Trigg Co but had a son living in Henry Co TN. He was born in 1858. Thanks a bunch! 3. Hi Donna, I have some records of the Mathis family but no John b. 1858. I do have a John B. born 8/1/1855 in TN. Probably not the one you are looking for. The families are likely related. My Mathis line is from Leonard Mathis, b. 1801 NC, d. 1880 in Henry Co., TN. My records go back to Isaiah Mathis, born abt 1765 in NC, died 1824 in Trigg Co. KY. If any of these people sound familiar, I may be able to provide some family information. Please e-mail me at the address below if you would like to exchange data. 2. Nothing matches, Dave. The McEvoy dates are burials from 1901 thru 1991. I checked some of the early burials for Finch and none of the names match. Also, there were no Sampson's, whatsoever, listed. 1. Atkins marriages

    3. Hi folks, I just found a hole in my tree, and wonder if someone can help me fill it? I have two ATKINS sisters and their husbands' surnames, but no more on the husbands. First is Joy ATKINS, born 1936, died 1960, married a VOWELL. I would think the marriage year was between about 1952 and 1956. Second is Dorothy Atkins, married an OWEN. She was (probably) born between 1930 and 1935. The parents were Henry Clay ATKINS, born 14 Jun 1899 in Henry County, Tennessee, and Annie Inez OWEN, born 03 Jan 1903 in Weakley County, Tennessee. I will send this to the Weakley and Henry County lists These are sisters of my first cousin's wife, Ruby Ann ATKINS who is also deceased. I wonder about the Vowell because when I was very young we lived on a farm outside of Martin, owned (if memory serves) by a man named Major VOWELL. I believe Major was his name rather than a military rank, and I wonder if there is any connection. Also I wonder about the OWEN because the girls' mother was an OWEN. I'm guessing it was cousins marrying. Does anyone out there have anything? Thanks on a sunny Sunday in North Georgia. Dave Ray [email protected]

    3. These appear to be some of that family: 1910 > TENNESSEE > HENRY > 10-DIST Series: T624 Roll: 1505 Page: 213 SIMMONS CHARLES H 30 M W TN TN HENRY 10-DIST He was 30, b TN, a farmer, md 7 yrs, wife Hettie 27, two children Franklin 6 and Evelyn 1 yr 5 mos., all b TN, parents all b TN. On same page was Mrs. Caroline Simmons, 69, wd., with children Pinckney 37, Lisa (or Lira?) 33, Flora 27, and Edd 24, plus Mary 18 (dau in law), and grand-dau Ruth 1 yr. (Edd and Mary md. less than 1 yr.) In 1920, Caroline, 79, is living with her son EDD, 34, in same district. He is also with wife Mary 27, his brothers Anthony, single, and Wm., wd., both 46?, and sister Flora 37, single. Also nieces Louise 12, ruth 10, ruby 9 (or 8?), and reba? 3. They are next door to Chas. H., 40, and his wife Hettie, children Franklin 15, Evelyn 10 and Teresa? 1. Hope this helps a bit. --- Pat <[email protected]> wrote: > Does anyone know how these Simmons are related > or their families? They > were all buried by Ridgeway Funeral Home.
