http://www.tngenweb.org/records/henderson/cemeteries/ A milestone of sorts I guess. I finally finished the second cemetery page. I began the page in October 2002 after school server crashes in March and April (at the same time as my father's stroke) ate 80 checked and updated cemeteries. Almost everything lost for Henderson Co. has been redone. One cemetery not redone is Hayes. I cheched it in fall of 2001 but it was so overgrown in Spring 2004 that I did not redo it. I think the cemetery I hated redoing most was Oak Grove east of Lexington. Newest additions are Jonathan Smith's 1996 record of the Hall Cemetery and 2004 updates of Palestine, Palestine Pentecostal, and Waller-Douglas. Most active cemeteries have been updated in recent years -- Natchez Trace State Park area about 1999, Scotts Hill area about 2001, eastern Henderson Co. about 2003, Lexington Cemetery 2003, and western Henderson Co. and Sardis areas mostly in 2004. Most small, inactive cemeteries are copied from the 1976 cemetery book (it does not have a copyright) . In most cases I do not know how to find these cemeteries. I would like to thank Joy Beth Campbell, Glenda Parchman, Jonathan K. T. Smith, and others who provided cemeteries. David
