Is anyone researching the Patterson families of Hawkins County? I am particularly interested in Alexander Patterson, father of (at least) Lewis C. and George W. Patterson, and possible husband of Betsy Christian, daughter of Lewis and Peggy Christian. Alexander was born in the late 1700's, probably in North Carolina. May have had a brother named John.
