He was born in May 1880. In the 1900 Census, He is living in the household of Mark Wilkins, listed as a nephew. I am told that he ran a store/resturant in the Blue Goose area. I have talked to people that remember him, but do not have any information on his wife or possible children. Another thing that I have heard about Walter is that he talked to himself,,,and acted strange. If you have any information on Walter, I would sure love to have it. thanks Jimmy Wilkins
Happened to have my copy of the 1870 Henderson Co census out so looked up the Wilkins family. There are only 3 families of Wilkins--all living in district #2 and within a short distance of each other.
