He was born in Henderson-co, Tenn., December 24, 1847, a son of Mr. & Mrs. Cerney Williams, and came to Flint two years ago from Monette, Ark. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. F.H. Watson of Josesbobo, Ark., and Mrs. Philip McPeak of Flint; a sister, Mrs. L. Gibson of Eric, Okla., and four grandchildren. note: not related
