SOURCE: The North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal, Volume XXXI, No. 3 NOTES: Regarding 2 - In same Society Journal was this information about publications of Primitive Baptist Church: "The Primitive Baptist" was an organ of the Primitive, or Old School, Baptist church between 1835 and 1879. It appears to have been replaced shortly afterward by "ZIONS LANDMARK." ADDITIONAL, verify all below dates before using: DANIEL WEBB stated he had been a Baptist for 44 yrs. thus - 1838 minus 44 yrs = 1794; - 1838 minus his age of 58 = 1780, Daniel's approximate date of birth; - 1794 appx. date he became Baptist minus 1780 appx date of birth: Daniel became a Baptist about the age of 14 yrs. - Is this Daniel WEBB the father of Francis Hopkins WEBB of HeCoTn, who married BUTLER?
