I found this: Deed Book II, 1873-1875 July 11, 1872 JAMES H. MILAM and wife CATHERINE conveyed 2 ACRES to J.B. Ballew, Z. Bevill, Giles Waller, James A. Bobbit, Henry Lesenberry, TRUSTEES of Mt. Carmel Methodist Episcopal South. Maybe you recognize some of these trustees. JAMES H. MILAM and wife CATHERINE were buried in this cemetery. >From my reading, it is my understanding that around1939, the Methodist Episcopal Church South became Methodist Church or was merged into Methodist Church.
