I am trying to find info on Allen T. Hart, I have found this much info on him but maybe there are other kinds of records I don't know about. He seems to be one of the first settlers in Scotts Hill, Henderson,Tn and by the 1870 he is in Lexington, Tn I will write down real quick what I do know. 1850 census Scotts Hill, Henderson, Tx Dist. 13 A.T. Hart 14 living with C.M. Fagg and Wm. Hart 11 livng with W.A.Paesler? 1870 census Lexington, Henderson Co, Tn Dist.13 Alin Hart 55 OH Mary E. Hart b. 1880 Living next door is his son William H. Hart married to a Sarah E. 1900 Census Walnut Grove, Gibson, Tn James M. Hart 28 Tn Emily Hart 23 Tn Mary Hart 4 Tn Eva J. Hart 2 Tn Not sure which ones was his wife, they were some so much younger, wife or daugher? Not sure but I think he was prob. buried in Lexington,Tn Do you know of any marriage or death records?? Amanda- If he was a settler in Scotts Hill, TN, and you state Henderson County, you might search also in Decatur County since Scotts Hill straddles the county line. You might also check in some of Gordon Turner's works for his name.
