Is anyone researching GRAVES family of Henderson Co. TN. If so, do you know the full name of A. GRAVES mentioned in the below deed excerpt? Maybe if someone has index of 1850 census, they wouldn't mind looking for an A. GRAVES for me. The year was 1857. His first and last name is in another document I am transcribing but I unable to read his first name. The below property was in the 17th district on 1850 census of Henderson Co. TN, maybe near Union Cross area near the old Milam (now Mt. Carmel Cem.), or off Longsought Road. Both Jordan Fuller and Richard Fuller were in 17th district on 1850 census Henderson Co. TN. In the l850 Henderson Co. Census, there is listed a Azariah Graves, 63, from NC. His wife is Penelope (Simpson) and she was 57, born in VA. The children listed are Nancy J, 23, born in NC; Major, 19, NC; Thomas J. 15, NC; Joseph, 12, NC; and Susan F.12, TN. They are living next door to Richard Fuller and the next door down is Jordan Fuller.
