    2. I am hoping someone can help me with a section from a power of attorney recorded in Henderson Co. TN, pages 372-373, P, deeds 1856-1858. Maybe you have come across some of these names in an old deed you have transcribed. See end of this email for power of attorney. Was JAS. A HENRY Register in Henderson Co. TN? Was ?TYLVANNS HEORVEL commissioner of TN or TX? In one instance it said he was commissioner of Tennessee, but then where it says "To certify" it mentions "of office in Bonham." 3. In deeds I have read which were of this same type, the officials were those for the county and state where the person lived. The deed was then sent to the county where the property was to be recorded. In this case, the Joel Fuller was residing in Fanning Co, TX, the Heorvel was a court official for that county and the power of attorney was for Story to conduct business in Henderson Co, TN Renea, list mom TNGenWeb Sites Decatur Co http://www.netease.net/decatur Perry Co http://www.netease.net/perry/ ----- Original Message ----- From: <LFLENT@aol.com> To: <TNHENDER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 10:03 AM Subject: [TNHENDER] Power of Attorney-Henderson Co. > I am hoping someone can help me with a section from a power of attorney > recorded in Henderson Co.
