I am researching McIngvales and found two of my McIngvales living with a Wood family from England. Found the above names on the Desoto Co., MS 1900 Census. John McIngvle, Head, b. March 1850, was 50 yrs old, born in Alabama, mother was born, in Alabama, and father was born in Alabama, with wife Annie b. July 1872 was 27 years old, born in MS, mother in MS and father in MS, children: Mamie, b. Sept 1882 was 17, Blanche, b. May 1884 was 16, Herbert b. Nov. 1888 was 11, Thelma b. Jan. 1900 was 4 months. Further down the page was listed a family of Wood, George Wood, b. England, Aug. 1856 was 43 and Single, Jane Wood, B. England, b. Aug. 1833 was 66 Mother, Will Wood, b. MS, Jan. 1873 age 27, brother and Single, Living with the Wood family are: Lizzie McIngvale, b.Dec. 1879, was 20 yrs old, Single listed as niece. George McIngvale, b. Jan. 1884, was 16 yrs old, Single listed as nephew. Census was taken 12 June 1900, Desoto County, MS, Beat 5.
