Dear Missy, I appreciate the information you sent on Riley Reeves. I have been searching for his parentage in Henderson and Decatur County and D. Lafayette Reeves had become very suspect in my research for Riley's father. You really blessed me with the Nancy Jane Sullivan's name because that opened up another closed door for me. My brother is married to a Sullivan and her father is a nephew to Nancy Jane. What a loop! Looking at what Wanda sent about Riley (Rilie) I can see it being D. Lafayette that the enumerator was struggling with and wrote it down as he did. Now I will be able to visit my cousins in Henderson County and show them where we all split-off. I am going to try to work-up a family reunion for this Summer and try to get all the Tennessee Reeves (with the extended family) together.
