I am seeking ANY information on Robert O'Neal. I have only found him in the 1850 Henderson Co Census. He was born ca 1770 in Ireland and in 1850 is living with the Aaron Elkins family. In 1860 he is not with the Aaron Elkins family (who are in Benton Co TN) . Does anyone have any information about him--Robert O'NEAL ? I welcome even thoughts or ideas on who he was and where he came from. Thank You....Joan

Your Robert Oneal may be related to Oneals who were in Wilson Co TN, and then onto Henderson CO TN and than to Williamson CO IL. I have found Oneals living around my Ray and Carter family who seem to have followed them from Wilson CO TN into Henderson CO TN then into Williamson CO IL. There was a Benjamin Oneal who bought land near my Wiley Ray about the same time in Henderson CO TN. and Oneals from Henderson CO and Wilson CO TN appear to be married into my Ray and Carter family in Williamson CO IL. Hi Rita, My name is Steve Scott and from the Henderson Co. mail list I picked you to ask about the PRATOR family. I don't have much, but my fathers cousin Hortense married an Olin PRATOR. I know very little about them, the may have been married in OK, maybe not. When I knew them in the 1950's they were in Antioch (east bay area) of CA. They had one son, Lloyd, who I think may have been born in mid '40's. I know this is a long shot but I thought I'd toss it out and see wht happens. Perhaps you may know others that may be able to use this little bit of info. If so, feel free to pass my email.
