re: African American research Henderson Co TN, Harrison Fuller lynched Lexington Tennessee January 8 1896 SOURCE: index of some lynchings on website of Institute for the Study of Race Relations http://150.174.33.57/isrr/index.html Additionally, I ran across a Harrison Fuller on some tax records of Chester Co. TN. I believe tax records were for 1890's. I don't know if it is the same man who was lynched. I was researching one of my Fuller cousins, formerly from old Lone Elm area in Henderson Co. TN in the same Chester Co. TN tax records and that's when I saw the name Harrison Fuller. Out of curiosity, I searched on ancestry.com and found a Harrison Fuller born abt 1866 with source of birth being 1870 census, TN, city, Henderson. I am not a member of ancestry.com so I was only able to view limited information. It has to be Henderson Co. TN for location since the portion of Henderson Co. TN given to form Chester Co. was given later than 1870. Hope this helps those of you researching African Americans. Linda
