The Henderson Masonic Institute was located in "town on the Mobile and Ohio Railroad, eighteen miles from Jackson, Tennessee and forty miles from Corinth, Mississippi.....The beautiful grove in which the Institute buildings stand, as well as the new and neat rooms of the buildings, makes the surrounding very favorable to the student's forming habits of vitrue.....There is not a drinking-saloon in the place; hence students are free from the temptations to intoxication." He was the son of James Henry Fuller (sometimes referred to as James Hill Fuller) and Eleanor MCCALL Fuller of Lone Elm. Little Henry's mother, Eleanor MCCALL, died when he was only 8 yrs. old and she died on his birthday. His Uncle Dr. E.
