This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Barker, Williamson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AgB.2ACE/312 Message Board Post: I am looking for more information on this couple. I have some conflicting information. One person has documenation stating James father was James Barker from Guilford County, NC. While there is another documentation floating around stating his father is Kendrick Barker, but was mispelled in the census. I have Some information about Eda's family but not a lot. Mainly her siblings. I do have her father listed as William W. Williamson, died in Saltillo, Hardin Co., TN and her mother as Nancy Bryant, died in Hardin Co., TN Any other information would be helpful. Thank you.
I believe the 1910 census indicates that James Harvey Barker was a Union soldier. This would be reasonable since two of his brothers were in the 7th TN Cav USA but I do not see a James Harvey or James H or Harvey Barker in Tennesseans in the Civil War. Do you have a unit for him?
