I'm especially interested in the family of Sterling SINGLETON (b. ca 1823 NC). His son Lewis R. could be the one living near your Annie SINGLETON MIDDLETON in 1930. Almeda SINGLETON (b. 1870), dau of John W. SINGLETON & granddau of Sterling married John MIDDLETON. John's sister Sallie MIDDLETON married James SINGLETON (b. 1872). James was a son of Leonard and Marilda GAWF SINGLETON. Leonard was probably a son of Sterling.
