Steve, in response to your query: "I am Steve Scott currently in Oregon. I am curious about your links to Henderson Co. and your "colleague" in No. CA as well as his location. My lineage goes back to the Scotts Hill area and includes SCOTT, WHITE, AUSTIN, WOODWARD, and others (DYER & LASITER I think). My grandfather was born in Scotts Hill and moved to OK early 1900's. He married there prior to statehood" My FULLER colleague in No. CA, near Dorrington, descends from Jordan FULLER b Franklin Co. NC and arrived in HeCoTn believed 1823 or before. Jordan's direct descendants migrated to Fannin Co. TX and helped to settle the Bonham area, a well documented line. I connect to Warren FULLER, brother of Jordan FULLER. Warren FULLER was believed to have died before 1830 in HeCoTn and buried unknown, maybe off Longsought Road or perhaps in the unrecorded cemetery in cow pasture formerly owned by a well known Lexington cattleman, now deceased. This cemetery has yet to be found and recorded. Warren was definitely deceased by 1832 as there was a Sheriff's Sale in HeCoTn and Warren's heirs were listed, Sheriff's sale was published in newspaper in Jackson, Madison CoTn. Still looking for graves of Jordan, Warren, their wives and some of their children in HeCoTn. Ephraim Bradford Fuller, Sr., brother of Jordan and Warren, was buried in McCall Cem., HeCoTn. Ephraim is the FULLER, who probably first settled 1832 in or near BLACK BOTTOM ROAD and PROSPECT CHURCH and then moved to area near McCall Cem. Ephraim was on 1830 census in Humphreys CoTn prior to his arrival in Henderson CoTn. The 2nd edition of Early Southern Fullers by Kay Fuller Mitchell will documents the ancestry of Jordan, Warren, Ephraim FULLER, back before 1700 in Isle of Wight, VA. My maternal lines are WILLIAMS, WHEATLEY, BRITT. The majority of folks buried in Palestine Cemetery, HeCoTn, are related to me in one way of another, cousins married cousins. The Scotts Hill, TN, probably that portion in Decatur CoTn, line I research is GATHENS or GATHINGS, my female ancestor born Scotts Hills, TN, married HAY of Decatur CoTn. GATHINGS family is one of my hardest lines to find information. GATHINGS is believed to be from Anson Co. NC, arrived in Perry CoTn before 1840, and they probably were living west side of Tennessee River during this time. Before Anson Co. NC, GATHINGS family researched back to VA mid-1700s. I also research male Alvie CLENNEY only as he connects to his 2nd wife Minerva GATHINGS or GAITHING. I am currently trying to find the church Alvie CLENNEY belonged to. "Alvie" CLENNEY of Decatur CoTn. Other lines connecting to FULLER are DENISON, TEAGUE, RHODES, REED, DERRYBERRY, AZBILL, LINDSEY, SMITH and others, early families of HeCoTn. I research these lines also and even when some moved to Texas. Steve, if I can help you further, please let me know. Linda
