I'm trying to connect Davis folks. David Davis born 1785 married Jane Montgomery. David died in Henderson, CO. in 1851. He first married Jane Montgomery in Caswell, CO. NC. She is the mother of all his children. She died in 1849 due to falling off a horse. Second he married Marthena Hare, 1850. John B. [Boswell] Davis born 1808 died 1881 married Clarissa Wilson. He is the oldest son of David and Jane Davis. Can anyone tell me if David, Jane, and John B. Davis are listed in the book, Crossing the Dark River? We have info on the following grandpa's who are buried at The Christain Chapel Cemetery. John William Davis 1847 married Margaret Hendrix TN Felix Garfield Davis 1880 married Lucy Johnson TN-MO This is the info we have on David Davis line. Prince George, CO., MD to Caswell, CO., NC. Have you seen the postings to Decatur Co about the Sims, Boswell, Davis families of Caswell Co, NC. Have noted and kept because of John Davis being John Boswell Davis. Connection ??
