I am interested in finding out more about the following Williams men in Henderson County, TN. Found in the US census from 1850 through at least 1870. Particularly Hampton Williams b.circa 1823 in VA. In all the censuses his wife is listed as Mary A. b. VA. In his household in 1850 (Henderson County, Dist 7), there is a Nancy Johnson who may be his Mother-In-Law. I think she may be the wife of Wiley Johnson who was in the 1840 census in the same area. Does anyone have any further information about this family? I think they are related to the two Josiah Morton's located on the same page of the 1850 census through the elder Josiah Morton b. circa 1799 and his wife Nancy Johnson, b.circa 1801, who I believe to be the daughter of Wiley. The other male Williams on the same page are: Franklin -85 b. VA, wife Ann John -60 b. VA, wife Nancy Richard -24(?) b. NC, wife Nancy Issac (hard to read ?) -22 b. NC unmarried and living with John John -20 b.
