Vincent/ 1850 census Carroll Co. does show Alvin , age 32 & Dorcas Rollin, age 26/ 1860 Carroll Co. shows Alvin , age 43 & Dorcas Rawlins, age 37, with 2 other persons in their home. Which ever spelling of the surname is correct, this almost has to be the same couple. Problem is, what is the correct name and where are they after 1860, and how is the name spelled?
