    3. Reed- Read-Reid, they can all be the same name, as spelling was not formal as it is now a days. You can find the same man with 3 spellings. I have a HUNCH, that Reid families of Henderson Co TN are from Reidsville, Rockingham Co NC originally. My personal hunch, no proof yet.
