Briant Branch & wife Elizabeth & family was shown on 1860 census there. In 1850, they were in Carroll County. Jesse B. Branch married 10-6-1842 in Madison County, Tn. to Elizabeth Vinson. She may have a relative named Dorcas who married Alvin Rowland 1846 and lived in Carroll CO. 1850-1860. Briant, Elizabeth & Alvin all born in N.C.. I have reason to believe these families may be connected to my ancesters,: surnames, Shepherd , Crawford and Vinson. If any one has info or can help, I will really appreciate it. E-mail me, please.
