TN "Leavenworth Times", Monday, 13 August, 1973, Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co. Kansas page 5, column 2 Alma Neal Funeral services for Alma D. Neal, 73, of 1419 Metropolitan, who died Sunday at Cushing Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Larkin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Mrs. Neal was born Aug. 12, 1900, at Cedar Grove, Tenn. She was a daughter of John and Leona Jordan Cary. She had been a resident of Leavenworth since 1920 when she moved here from Lexington, Tenn. She was married to William Neal at Leavenworth in 1950. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hastert of 1419 Metropolitan, Mrs. Mildred Biggins of 1522 4th Ave., and Mrs. Margaret Bales of Tallahassee, Fla.; and a brother Robert Cary of Cedar Grove, Tenn.; and a sister, Miss Tessia Cary, also of Cedar Grove; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
