As of May 26, 2005, we have an exact 25 marker match between two descendants each of Edmund S. Gawf of Henderson Co., TN and Lewis R. Goff of Decatur Co., TN. What's more, these two Goff/Gawf families are also exact matches for three Barlow/Barlar families, which followed similar migration paths. Now for a request. Does anyone have a written version of any of the various Goff/Barlow orphan stories or an obituary for any of these three Goff men?
