TN There might be a sale regarding property of Jeremiah AUSTIN published in an early newspaper to satisfy heirs. Many items about Henderson Co. TN were published in early newspapers of Madison Co. TN. I checked the 1850 slave schedule of HeCoTn for Jeremiah AUSTIN; he was not listed as a slave owner. I don't know if there is a 1850 slave schedule on the Decatur Co. TN website, you might check.
