Searching for any information on a Garrett BIBB (they originated in Caroline Co. VA.) family living in Henderson Co., TN 1840 Census, which lists 6 children in the household, I've only been able to identify two of these. One of the daughters (Elizabeth Jane) married PK (Pleasant) Parsons, in Carroll Co., TN., they migrated to Greene Co. AR before 1880 with their adult children and their spouses, Mary/John King, Sarah/W.H. Harris, W.Thomas, single but married Cordelia Reed in Greene Co. AR. Fourth child was Luiza, no information except for census records, she did not go w/them to Arkansas. One of their sons, Benjamin Franklin BIBB (1850 census) lived w/Elijah Faulkner, worked as a farm laborer, 1851 he married Jane C. Pattishall in Cotton Plant, St. Francis Co. AR., they had three children while living in TN, then prior to 1860 migrated to Greene Co. AR., where were born seven more children. Benjamin and PK both fought in the 1846-48 Mexican War, as well as the Civil War, Benjamin for the CSA, Arkansas, PK for the Union, TN.
