I would have to compare names with the dates for the people I have; however, I don't have any of those names in my papers at this time. Have you been to the Genforum.com website for Maness? You might find a John Riley there...it sounds familiar to me. Good Luck in your searching.

My husbands grandfather was a Ace Lee Maness, brother John Riley Maness, and two other boys that evidently died young. Their father was a Frankie Maness, mother was a Liddie Woods that was full Cherokee. That's all I have yet and this from my mother-in-law who doesn't seem to want to remember her childhood it was so horrible. Anyway If any connection let me know. Rebecca

It says you are not a known AOL user. I found the below information from TN 1880 census by going to www.familysearch.com, clicking census. Looks like you need to look in Marion Co. TN. Since it says John S. Youngblood's father was born in TN, check census indexes for TN, 1870-1860-1850 census. The below John S. Youngblood would have been about 25 yrs. old in 1870, 15 yrs. old in 1860, 5 yrs. old in 1850. 1880-35 yrs.old = 1825 making the below John S. Youngblood born in TN about 1825. Good luck. Happy Hollidays all Can anyone help me. I am looking for a Wiley/Wylie/Willis/Willa Ray. He could be found as any of the given names mentioned. His daughter moved to Williamson CO IL. just before 1860 and has her father as Willa Ray from Henderson CO TN and mother as Louisa Carter Ray. I found Louisa and children on the 1850 Henderson TN census without Wiley. I found a Wylie C Ray on the 1840 Henderson TN census which looks like he could be the Ray I am looking for but need to compare this guy to any of the given names previous mentioned. Thanks much, Rita
