    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AgB.2ACE/153.1 Message Board Post: Edward Casey was married to Mary Virginia Burns. I have seen the name Sarah also, but don't know where it comes from. It does appear on the death certificate of John Truman Casey, who is my gggrandfather. According to a book in the Tennessee Archives entitled "Hickman County Tennessee History" published by the Hickman Tennessee Historical Society, under the heading "Cayce", Edward is the son of John and Rebecca Casey (Cayce). John is the son of Joshua and Margaret Cayce. Edward had three sisters. His father died prior to 1850; Edward and siblings are living with Rebecca in the 1850 census. In 1860 he has married and is living with his wife's sister and husband (F. W. and Ann Williams) in Tn. >From the information I have, Edward was not killed, but died of disease in Union City, possibly typhoid. He is possibly buried in Little Cemetery, north of Scott's Hill in Henderson County. His wife, Mary Virginia, evidently died in about 1869; in the 1870 census, Edward's children are living with John and Mary Sheppard. Mary is their grandmother and was married to Truman Burns, Mary Virginia's father, prior to Truman's death. Court documents show that John Sheppard is appoiinted guardian of Edward's children March 1, 1869. How are you related to Edward? Let's exchange information. Hope this is helpful.

    3. 400 BAD SYNTAX If you get this message trying to access files on the Henderson County school system server (where the cemetery files reside) you will need to disable Norton Personal Firewall. This seems to be a problem with the setup of the school system server and is not a problem with the cemetery and history pages I store there. I have this problem myself and would get rid of Personal Firewall except that I need it to suppress popup ads from rootsweb and other servers. David
