    1. [TNHENDER] COMSTOCK SURNAME
    2. Steve and Judy Sanders
    3. Does anyone research the Comstock surname in Henderson Co.? There was a Charles Marvin Comstock born 1835 who was in the 1880 Henderson Co. census with wife Annie-no children listed. Her name could have been Alvizary Annie. They married between 1873 and 1880. I think Charles Marvin was married previously to a Mary. He died in 1908 and is buried in Nebo Cemetery in Henderson Co. I found his widow Alvizary Comstock in 1920 Henderson Co. census living on Crucifer Rd. with her daughter Bular (Beulah) Moore age 34 widowed and grandson Elbert Moore age 19 single. I don't know if Charles Marvin and Alvizary had other children or not. Would anyone have these names in their records or know of anyone who might research these names? Judy Sanders

    3. Am not researching the Lovells but believe that there was only one line of Lovels in Henderson Co. They lived in the 15th district from 1850 census up to 1890 vets census. Supposedly the Lovell family was in Davidson Co in the early 1800s and two men who married Garland sisters came to Henderson Co. Lindolph Lovell was in the Union Army during the Civil War and is buried in the Milton Cemetery in Henderson Co. William Lovell was a member of the Christian's Chapel Church of Christ during the Civil War era. I'm sure someone will know more about the later ones. PSH

    3. The cemetery is well maintained and they have Decoration Day [I think] the second Sunday in May. The church's windows have been boarded up for years and I have never seen any activity around the church. It is a very quaint little white church. I have to pass there on the way to my grandparents home. I noticed that previous posters have given you the web address for David Donahue's cemetery research. This would be your best bet as far as finding out who is buried there. Good Luck. 2. Marge, Thank you. I live near St.Louis, Missouri. I have found that the cemetery is located on Presley Ridge Road about a mile east of its intersection with Scotts Hill-Sardis Road, in Scotts Hill, TN. But still have not found an exact address. Do you or anyone know what church this cemetery might be affliliated with? The web page says that a new area was opened in 2001 on the church side of the road. Also that it is very well maintained. So the church or the cemetery should have paper work on where people are buried, would you think? Melanie

    2. Could someone please tell me where Prospect Cemetery is, an address. I do hope I have the right county for this cemetery. Is it still any active cemetery, or has it been forgotten. Trying to obtain an address to locate records on my husband's great grandmother who died in the late 1940's early 1950's and is buried there along with her husband. I tried looking in the Yellow Pages on the internet but came up with nothing, as well as a search for it returned nothing. Thank You, Melanie
