    1. [TNHENDER] Court House, Library & Newspaper Archive
    2. Trish Carden
    3. I'm planning my first trip ever to Henderson County on Monday. Does anyone know if the Courthouse keeps the 1933 circuit court records on microfilm? My grandparents were living there back in 1933. They divorced that year and I'm seeking the records. I was planning on going to the Library but I hear it may still be closed from tornado damage. So if anyone knows about the records at the courthouse I hope they will respond to this email. I am also hoping to check the newspaper archives for that year. Some family members seem to think that a scandal preceded the divorce. One that would have made the newspaper if it were true. I hope to confirm that the rumors were false. I'll check my email one last time before we leave in the morning for any responses. Thanks again to all of you have been so helpful with information about Henderson county. I'm looking forward to seeing where such hospitable people are from. There were Flowers and Horn families there as far back as 1750. There were also families there that moved to Tippah Co. Am not sure if Flowers family moved there or not. Have never seen Benjamin Flowers in Edgecombe records. Tommy
