The only picture I have of all the family is as follows: Andrew Austin, Will Austin, Frank Austin, Cynthia Austin, Lou Austin, Dove Austin, Lizann Austin, Pleasant Austin and Ed Austin. I also have a photo of Pleasant Austin and his wife Josie Mitchell. I do believe my grandmother has a pictures of Lou (they called her Dink) Austin. I would love to have more, but they are hard to come by being so old. Karen

Re: Noble Austin Suggestions: 1) I would email the library in Piedmont, Missouri, and ask them for look up in local newspaper for JAN 1984 for his obituary. THERE MAY BE A SMALL FEE. FYI, Piedmont, MO, is located in WAYNE CO MO. There is an email contact on the LIBRARY's website, see below. His obituary may tell you who his father was and other things about him. Off of Minerva Jane who married Hugh Kennedy from the Henderson, and Chester, Decatur Counties, Kennedys..Any other information on her I would appreciate. My grandfather Charlie Austin was born 3-10-1888.

My grandfather was born 2-19-1906 and passed away in Jan of 1984. I am not sure where he was born. He was buried in Piedmont MO. His father, however, was named Charles, and I don't have any info on him. He had a brother named Charles also. re: book History of Scotts Hill, TN. It is out of print. Might check often on www.ebay.com to see if a copy comes up for sale. Portions of the book are online at http://www.tnyesterday.com/turner/gt-til.htm I believe the book can be obtained through interlibrary loan from Tennessee State Library and Archives, Nashville, TN. Ask at your local library, reference dept or adult services, to check to see if you can get it. It will cost to get it this way. Last books I obtained, it turned out to be very expensive, returning to Tennessee State Library; Tennessee State Library required books be returned Federal Express & insured (around $50). I only got to keep the book 3 weeks before it had to be returned to Tennessee State Library. You could also check with a used book store in your area, most have access to system throughout U.S. to check with other used book stores for any book. It's my guess you would pay at least $100 to get it, if one was found. I looked through what I have can't find any of those names .My line is from Deberry Austin and Mary Hagler/Haigler through their son Jacob (Jake Austin ) and Elizabeth Little .Deberry Austin parents were James Allen Austin and Fanny Snipes .
